Amazon received proposals from 238 suitors, including Boston, Massachusetts, Today, they just released its short-list of 20 cities that are still in the running to secure the second North American headquarters, to be with Seattle, dubbed HQ2. Yes, Boston made the list.

A key criteria for the $5 billion development is “the potential to attract and retain strong technical talent” and Amazon is planning to announce a winner by the end of this year.
