Searching for Boston luxury condos

When it comes down to it, who should you trust to guide you through your real estate goals: an individual agent or a team? This has been a hotly disputed issue for some time now, which is why I’d like to offer some insight into it today.

For as long as residential real estate as we know it has existed, there have been individual agents. But now, real estate teams have become increasingly common in our modern market. This is putting tremendous pressure on the individual agents out there—especially those who have clung to traditional models and avoided innovation.

In an attempt to retain relevance in the market, individual agents will try to scare you into thinking that big teams aren’t as personable. They claim that with so many people working for a single client, buyers and sellers will lose out on having an individualized experience. This isn’t actually the case.

“When you work with a team, you never have to worry about whether someone will be free to serve you.”

The reality is that individual agents are going extinct in our industry

The reality is that individual agents are going extinct in our industry. They simply can’t compete with the high-level service a team can provide.

Think of it this way: If you were working with an individual agent and they happened to be busy with something while you’re trying to reach them, then you’d be out of luck until they were free to take your call or answer your email. Buyers and sellers who work with a single agent are at the mercy of that individual’s availability. When you work with a team, you never have to worry about whether someone will be free to serve you.

Not only will someone always be available to help when you work with a team, but you can also be sure that the person helping you is an expert at their job. One of the main advantages of working with a real estate team is that each member of that team has a specialized skill set that they can apply to your deal.

So as you think about your real estate goals, remember that a Jack-of-all-trades is a master of none. Team-based businesses aren’t just the future of the real estate industry, they’re also the present. And our team, specifically, would like to prove this to you. We’ve been recognized by the Wall Street Journal as being among the top 150 teams in the country, and we would be happy to put our expertise to work for you.

If you have any other questions, would like more information, or are curious about how we can help you reach your real estate goals, feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
